Choice of Methodologies Based on Asset Needs
Objectively determine which of your assets require RCM2 and which are more suited for MTA or CPR. Ivara provides a tailorable, risk-based approach to assessing factors which determine which methodology to use based on the asset’s business/operating context.
- RCM2 −Use cross-functional teams to perform RCM analyses and apply the process. Produce the most robust and cost-effective asset reliability programs using RCM2, the recognized leading standard in RCM.
- MTA−Rapid coverage of less critical assets. Review and update existing programs rather than take a zero based approach (RCM). Results in higher overall performance level in less time than RCM. MTA templates provide rapid development of analyses for like assets resulting in faster time to implement and realize benefits.
- CPR −Quick process to begin moving from reactive to proactive. Validate existing practices and quicky automate qualitative & quantitative inspections, moving them from paper based to mobile checksheets (Ivara Mobile). Revisit with MTA or RCM later.
