User interface definability tools have a sophisticated user interface that minimizes the training time required for administrators:

• Object model extensions are done using the same interface and UI paradigm as the EXP application itself.
• UI and report modifications are done through a drag and drop interface.
• Integrations can be built and extended by modifying integration objects through the UI without necessitating programming.

Elements of the Ivara user interface are stored in the system database. Most business applications compile their interface information into the program itself, inherently limiting UI definability options. Ivara’s approach means that any user interface element can be modified without core product changes using the same drag and drop editor used by Ivara designers. Modified screens are preserved during upgrade procedures.
