The MTA Facilitator Competency Development Program is designed to increase the skills necessary to successfully lead an MTA analysis. The program builds upon the formal portion of the RCM2 Facilitator Competency Development Program adding additional training as well as coaching. MTA combines the concepts of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and the philosophy of RCM2.
In this hands-on course, you’ll learn from case studies and group exercises geared to refining your skill set. As a participant, you will take turns facilitating the MTA analysis while the Practitioner provides coaching on your application of MTA principles and your group management skills.
By participating you will:
- Acquire the skills to successfully lead on MTA Analysis
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the MTA concepts and methodology
- Learn where best to apply MTA and RCM2
- Apply the methodology through a coached formal case study and on real assets to ensure sensible and defensible results.
Prerequisite Course: RCM2 Facilitator Competency Development Program (formal portion)
Target Audience: Reliability Improvement Leaders, Change Leaders, Reliability Engineers / Specialists
