The Ivara application framework provides extensive support for customization of the standard application. Unlike traditional software systems, EXP is built upon a flexible, meta-data driven object oriented architecture that allows customers to tailor the software to their specific requirements without hampering their ability to upgrade to new releases. Ivara’s object model and UI can be extended and modified through an additive process that does not alter the standard product. Because the tools used by the customer to tailor the software are the same tools used by Ivara’s product mangers to build the standard product, the possibilities are endless.

This course provides an overview of the Ivara object model, and an introduction to basic customization scenarios such as building custom reports and basic model and view customization, allowing the IT Specialist to tailor the application to support their user’s unique requirements.
