As Reliability Consultant you will be responsible for working with our clients to increase their asset performance by developing and implementing technologically sound maintenance programs.  Using Ivara software and the Worksmart methodology, you will assist our clients migrate from reactive work environments to proactive planned maintenance, driving tangible business benefits through reduced maintenance cost and increased asset reliability.

       Responsibilities:

  • Perform reliability assessments to identify potential areas for improvement in existing client maintenance practices.
  • Develop and manage the detailed project plan for implementing recommended reliability improvements within a plant.
  • Train customers in maintenance best practices, and contribute to the ongoing development of best practices within the Ivara WorkSmart Methodology
  • Work with the client to develop a common maintenance business process for the organization, and identify the roles, responsibilities, and training needs of maintenance staff to execute the business process.
  • Facilitate Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM2) work identification workshops to develop technologically sound maintenance programs.
  • Train and coach client staff to become MTA and RCM2 facilitators.
  • Assist the client in using Ivara software to implement proactive maintenance programs.
  • Develop and implement leading Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to measure adherence to the maintenance business process, and lagging KPI’s to measure tangible business results.
  • Work with a variety of job positions from shop floor to senior executives.
  • Provide guidance on organizational change throughout project.

      Requirements:

  • Engineering education or equivalent technologist or trade experience
  • 5 plus years experience in both reliability and/or maintenance in a commercial or industrial site
  • Involvement in multiple CMMS and EAM software implementations
  • Experience in developing project scope, plan and project management
  • Excellent facilitation, teaching, coaching and meeting management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Office products
  • Extensive travel required
  • Desirable, but not essential…
    • Previous consulting experience
    • Experience with work identification tools including RCM, FMEA, or RCA
    • Experience in predictive maintenance and/or condition monitoring tools
    • Experience with Work Management and Asset Life-Cycle Management
    • Predictive Maintenance Application experience
